The Quickest Way to Create a Daily Planner Page

Stressing out because you didn't get everything done yesterday?

Don't stress! Make a plan instead!

plan, daily plan, daily docket, graph notecard, planner page

Just take yesterday's unfinished daily docket and complete these easy steps to incorporate it into today's daily plan.

First, do anything that can be done in under two minutes and scratch it out.

For me, that meant jotting down a password (find out my trick here) in my password file.

Second, make a visual mark (like the orange squiggly marks in the photo) that makes creating a daily docket from undone stuff easy.

Circles or squares or highlights might also work, depending on how you normally mark your page.

Third, follow my directions to create a daily docket.

Don't you feel better now that you have a plan in place?!?

My daily page was done on AT-A-GLANCE Planning Note Cards that fit perfectly in a Franklin Covey compact.

Etcetera.

Good advice. That seems like my days more often than not this month. It's good to kick-start the next day with a plan.
