How to Mark To Do Lists for Tasks in Progress

Need a simple way to show that you've started a task but not finished it?

Just draw a box around the task.

In the photo, for example, I have laundry in the wash and dishes running, but still need to fold and put away the stuff.

Once the task is done, highlight it to mark it complete.

The remaining tasks will pop out to your eyes and let you know that they need doing.

Etcetera.

Thank you for this. I've been working on the 'July 1 book, 1 Pen' challenge, and have put my highlighter on hiatus. Lately, I just put a little vertical line, then when done complete the check mark. Works, but not optimal for me.

Ooh, I like that idea! Lately I've been fully filling in my check boxes for finished tasks, and just putting in a diagonal slash for started but not completed tasks, which has been working pretty well for me.

I like! I'm going to start doing that. It'll give me a better sense of progress. I had been waiting until the task was completely done to cross it off, which is a bit discouraging. Thanks for the tip! :)
