Mommy Sacrifices

When you become a mom, you know you are going to have to make sacrifices. You will get a lot less sleep. Baths suddenly take all of 3 minutes, if you are very, very lucky. You change diapers. While Days of Our Lives in on tv, you're watching Clifford, The Big Red Dog.

But no one tells you that your two year old will eat half your beloved boiled crawfish. The boiled crawfish that you peeled. That was a rare treat, since hubby won't bring crawfish into the home. The crawfish that was leftover from your MOTHER'S DAY dinner.

Darn Cajun blood.

Etcetera.

Just wait until he gets older and half won't cut it anymore. that's why, as a Mommy, you have to learn to HIDE the good stuff :)

HAPPY BELATED MOM'S DAY!

Yes, my son loves crawfish too!! Could be worse! He could hate crawfish too. Maybe now that you and Ander eat then Alan will think about it a little more. I HATED seafood once too! Now I LOVE it!

sj, you really need to give them a try. Believe me... when I finally did, I couldn't believe what I was missing!

I have got to support sj here. To each her own and all, but I think those little bottom feeders are just yucky. Growing up on the Cajun coast apparently had little effect on me.

The scent of crab boil makes me want to scour the inside of my head with a bristle brush. Why would I put something that smells that horrible into my mouth?
